Is America really so culturally dead that ostensibly intelligent people are bemoaning the fact that the Nightmare On Elm Street remake just "didn't get it right" or "understand the source material correctly"?

In related news I have it on good authority that the Ball In A Cup movie is in pre production.

I didn't mean to be flippant about the passing of Lena Horne in my previous post. Her death is socially and cuturally significant. Frazetta? well yeah I guess I did mean to be flippant about that.

Black Lung is done. I still have some lettering and editing to do but basically the book is done, and right now my hand hurts.

Also I yelled at my roommate last night and I think he hates me right now.
